The drillings have the aim of:
• rebuild stratigraphic profile through the examination of the extract samples
• allow the extraction of samples for determinate mechanical and physical proprieties
• allow performance of survey and measurements about underground water
• allow, through test on the field, determination of the geotecnical ground proprieties
The rotary drilling is performed with a core drill, the lower end of which consists of a cutting crown that, turning on the hole, detaches fragments of material.
To make the hole, often it is essential the circulation of a fluid (water, mud or compressed air) put into the hole through the drill rods or along the walls of the hole.
By this system we can cross each type of ground; the deep and the diameter of the holes depend only on the power and the type of machinery used.
Georeflex Srl supports its professional geologists to companies specialized in soil tests, operating throughout the national territory.
